About Me

Amy is the mother of two sons and has been serving families as a Postpartum Certified Doula through DONA International since 2004, and as a Certified Lactation Counselor through The Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice since 2005. Since that time, she has worked with over 75 families.

Her journey to becoming a doula began after the birth of her first child in 2001.  After a challenging birth and postpartum time, she realized that there was an important void in the community around her that needed to be filled, that of a support system for after birth.  This is when she began pursuit of training as a certified postpartum doula.  Her goal is to give non-judgmental support to families during the childbearing year. She has worked with many families expecting multiples, and has experience assisting those struggling with postpartum anxiety and depression. Amy is honored to help you during your postpartum time.
