Everyone in a family can feel when a household needs help too. Each family dynamic is unique and so are their needs. Doulas are not just for moms and babies but give care and support to everyone in the home. Here are some ideas on the services I have provided for other families: ~Household organization including: organizing the nursery, putting together baby equipment, laundry, dishes, sweeping and vacuuming ~Healthy meal preparation for the family ~Support partner/sibling adjustment to the new baby ~Run errands for the family such as picking up groceries or diapers ~Provide timely referrals as needed ~Set up the nursery, sort baby clothes/gifts for the baby Content Copyright 2004-2012.
